Position Summary
Lasell University invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty to teach courses in Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI Models, and Robotics. We are seeking passionate, innovative educators with real-world experience who are excited to help students explore the cutting edge of technology, from securing digital systems to advancing AI-powered intelligent agents and robotics.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in areas such as Cybersecurity, AI (including topics on Machine Learning, LLMs, Agentic Models), and Robotics.
Develop and deliver engaging course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and hands-on projects focused on current trends like generative AI, LLM fine-tuning, AI agent frameworks, and robotic systems.
Incorporate real-world applications, ethical considerations, and emerging best practices in cybersecurity and AI development.
Guide students in understanding and implementing AI technologies such as transformer-based models, multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, and human-AI interaction.
Provide timely, constructive feedback and academic support to ensure student success.
Stay current on advances in Cybersecurity, AI (including LLMs, generative AI, and autonomous agents), and Robotics to continually enhance course content.
Collaborate with faculty to align curriculum with industry needs and academic goals.
Participate occasionally in faculty development meetings, workshops, or university events.

Qualifications:

Required:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or a closely related field.
- Professional or research experience in areas such as AI/ML, Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, BERT, Llama), Cybersecurity, Robotics, or Agentic AI models.
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in Cybersecurity, Robotics, or AI.
- Prior teaching, training, or mentorship experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical content clearly.
Preferred:
- Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with tools and platforms related to LLMs and agentic AI models (e.g., OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, LangChain, AutoGen, etc.).
- Certifications in Cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+) and AI-related areas.
- Hands-on experience with AI/Robotics programming frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, ROS, PyTorch, or similar.
